Mammalian Methylation Data Browser

Nature has evolved mammalian species of greatly differing lifespans. To resolve the relationship of DNA methylation with maximum lifespan and phylogeny, researchers performed a large-scale cross-species unsupervised analysis. Comparative studies in many species enables the identification of epigenetic correlates of maximum lifespan and other traits.

Data from the Mammalian Methylation Consortium will be downloadable from GEO and also a browser is available at the link below to view and select key datasets for further research:

Beyond access to methylation data, additional tools will be made available to enable testing of available epigenetic clocks on each species. The full data are now available at the link above. The source publication in Science is the following:
